How to Create and Check In a student for a Drop In Meeting with a Group via the Student Card

This video tutorial demonstrates how to use ConexED for unscheduled, drop-in meetings for a group that does not have a Kiosk or Queue.

12 STEPS

1. Access Student Lookup tab from your assigned group.

2. Click into the Student Lookup Search Bar and type in the name, SIS ID number or student email. Select the the correct student from the drop down.

3. Click Drop-In Meeting on the student card to open the scheduler. Please note: when using the student Lookup from the group, the system opens the drop in scheduler for that group only.

4. Select the desired moderator, modality or physical location, and reason code for the drop-in meeting.

5. Scroll down and click Create Drop-In Meeting. This action records the meeting start time.

6. The scheduler will route back to the group calendar, and the appointment details will show with the assigned moderator. Click to open the meeting and view the Appointment Details.

7. Moderators will complete required details on each tab as needed, during or after the meeting.

8. The Notes and Reason Code tab is very important as it is used to collect the reasons for each student interaction.

9. Select all appropriate reason codes for each meeting, and make meeting notes in the In-meeting Notes box.

10. Scroll down and click Save and Checkout Student

12. That's it. You're done.
