How to Schedule an Appointment for a Student using the Group Student Lookup Tab.
This video tutorial demonstrates how to schedule appointments for students with your group. This tutorial applies to those within the group and can be applied to those with front desk agent assignments in various groups.
18 STEPS
1. Use the Navigation menu to find the Scheduling tab, and click to open.
2. Select your department, click to open. Select your group, click to open. Please note: The menu options are different for each user. This is because the navigation menu is personalized, and is based on both assigned role, and group placement.
3. Click Student Lookup
4. Click Student Lookup Search Bar
5. Type the student name, ID or email address into the Student Lookup Search Bar.
6. Click to select the appropriate student from the drop down. Please note: If the student is not in the system, you can create a new student account using the create new student button here, if needed.
7. Click Schedule Meeting icon on the student card.
8. Use the scheduler to locate the day the student needs an appointment. In this example, the selection was Tuesday.
9. Select the appropriate reason code from this list. In this example, the reason code was LinkedIn Profile Review. Click to select.
10. Scroll down, and see the modality and in-person location options. Click to select.
11. Scroll down and choose the desired time from the list, click to select. In this example, the option selected was 10:00 AM.
12. The group intake form will appear, complete the form with needed information. Please note, a red asterisk indicates a required field. In addition, some groups do not use intake forms, so this step may not always apply.
13. Click appropriate selection, in this example it was Full-Time
14. Click appropriate selection, in this example it was Yes
15. Click appropriate selection, in this example it was Yes, as a campus activity.
16. Click and enter the student's Telephone number
17. Click Schedule Appointment
18. The steps to schedule an appointment for a student are complete. The student will receive an email confirmation, as will the moderator. That's it. You're done
