How to Update your Profile Settings and ConexED Card
This video tutorial demonstrates how users can customize their cards and add details using the Customize ConexED Card center and the tabs within. The following video applies to all employee users with all assigned roles.

1. Navigate to Settings and Documents
2. Click Profile Settings
3. You name, email and telephone should auto complete based on information from your Student Information System (SIS). To enter information in other specific fields, click and type.
4. Type your job title in the field labeled Title
5. The offline Messaging feature allows a person to send you an email from your ConexED Card, without having to connect to their email server. This setting requires a group form to be configured before use. Uncheck or check to enable feature as needed.
6. The Office address field is meant to serve as a key for students to connect with you at a specific location. You may have a office number, but it may, instead, be something like Career Center or 1st floor, Adams Building, Advising Offices.
7. The Field Label options with label and value, can be used in a variety of ways, for example, use to indicate office hours or department hours of operation, or convey a campus slogan. Your team or campus may decide how to best use these options.
8. In this example, the Field Value is used to communicate an individual's Office Hours.
9. Be sure to click Save
10. The Include a biography field is another area to used to convey a variety of information. Some schools, indeed, put an employment Bio in about each employee - but others use it to further add details about the area the employee works on campus.
11. The Schedule Meeting Button Text field is prepopulated, but it can be edited if you prefer.
12. The Send Offline Message Text field is prepopulated, but it can be edited if you prefer.
13. If your group does events scheduled in ConexED, be sure the Show the Event Registration Button on my ConexED Card is checked. This will allow for access to upcoming events via your ConexED Card. If you group will not have scheduled events, uncheck
14. Be sure to check Make my Phone number visible to other users on my ConexED Card to enable this feature.
15. This Set my Status to Away when in an Online Meeting, will restrict Knock on Door messaging and show your online status reflects your availability at that time. Check to enable this feature.
16. The settings Don't allow Students to Schedule Appointments with me, and Do Not Allow Student to Schedule Through my Card, are generally used for employees who are not student facing, or for campus Administration with unique scheduling restrictions.
17. Be sure to Click Save
18. The ConexED Card Webpage Embed Code is used when you wish to embed your ConexED card on a website.
19. For additional Card customization options, scroll up and click the Account Settings tab.
20. Here you can Update your Password, Modify time Zone or CRM Notifications, Request a Role Upgrade, or Change your Default Institution. Please Note: Not all schools will have all options for role upgrade or default institution.
21. Click to Save Account Settings
22. Even more settings can be found in Extra Details tab.
23. Users can enter a preferred name, preferred pronouns, and suffix in this tab.
24. That's it. You're done.
