<h2>Overview</h2>
<p>ConexED allows you to upload custom images for your institution directly from the Admin Panel. These images appear throughout the platform to reflect your institution's branding — including the institution icon, banner, and virtual meeting room backgrounds.</p>
<p>This article covers the three image types available to ConexED Administrators: the institution icon, institution banner, and Café background images.</p>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> Images are uploaded per institution. In district instances, each campus manages its own images independently.</p>

<p><strong>Recommendations:</strong></p>
<ul>
  <li><strong>Institution Icon &amp; Banner:</strong> No server-side resizing occurs, so the image displays exactly as uploaded. Work with your team to confirm your institution's standard dimensions before uploading — there is no enforced output size.</li>
  <li><strong>Café Background Image:</strong> The platform resizes uploads to 1280×720 px (16:9). Use a landscape image in 16:9 ratio for the best result. A crop tool opens automatically during upload — starting with a 16:9 source image will give you the most control over the final framing.</li>

<h2>How to Upload the Institution Icon and Banner</h2>

  <li>Navigate to <strong>Admin → Institutions</strong>.</li>
  <li>Select your institution.</li>
  <li>Locate the <strong>Institution Icon</strong> or <strong>Institution Banner</strong> field.</li>
  <li>Use the file picker next to the field to select your image (BMP, JPEG, or PNG, max 10 MB), then click <strong>Save</strong>.</li>

<h2>How to Upload a Café Background Image</h2>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> Access to Background Images requires uber-administrator permissions. If you do not see this section, contact ConexED Support.</p>

  <li>Navigate to <strong>Admin → Integrations</strong>, then open your integration and scroll to the <strong>Background Images</strong> section.</li>
  <li>Click <strong>Upload New Image</strong>.</li>
  <li>Select your image file (any image format, max 10 MB). A crop tool opens automatically.</li>
  <li>Adjust the framing in the crop tool, then click <strong>Finished</strong>.</li>
  <li>The platform saves two versions automatically: a full image (1280×720 px) and a thumbnail (178×100 px).</li>
