How to use Student Tasks on the Student Lookup

All users and roles have access to customize their ConexED Contact Card information in the settings and documents tab

Our feature to create a Student Task is found on a tab on the Student Lookup Page. Here you can create a student task with a due date.  This serves as a way to communicate directly with a student in addition to our options through Send Notifications.  


For example, if a student inquires about using something available for check out, such as media equipment, personal hot-spot, or a calculator, in addition to contacting the student through text, email or notifications, an employee can assign the student a task to come pick up the item.

Please Note:  

  • Students see assigned tasks on their dashboard.
  • Students can mark assigned tasks as resolved and the assignee will be notified. 
  • Students do not receive an email regarding a task assignment.  
  • Student Tasks are not permission based and can be viewed by everyone. 
  • Student Tasks do not list the contact who assigned the task.
  • Student Tasks can be marked complete or deleted by a user other than the person who assigned the task. 
  • Student Tasks do not show on reports.
