Learn how we review, evaluate, and track your ideas--from submission to potential implementation.
When an idea is submitted--either by you through our Idea Form, or on your behalf by a ConexED team member--it enters our Customer Request Pipeline, where we track its progress through several stages of review and potential development.
Learn what each stage means below:
Stage | What It Means |
Request Received | Your idea has been received and logged in our internal tracking system. No action is needed at this time |
In Review – Ideas | Our Product Team is assessing your idea for clarity, feasibility, and potential impact. During this stage, similar ideas may be grouped together for efficiency. |
Waiting on Customer Details |
We need a bit more context before proceeding. A member of our team has reached out for clarification or examples. 👉Action Required: If your idea is in the “Waiting on Customer Details” stage, our team is waiting on your response before we can continue the review process. You can view our message and reply directly through the Customer Portal. |
Reply Received | We’ve received your response and your idea will move to the proper stage once reviewed by our Product Team. |
Idea in Discovery | Your idea has entered our discovery process, where we explore possible solutions and evaluate how it fits within our product roadmap. |
Planned for Development | The idea has been approved for development and added to our roadmap. |
Development in Progress | Our engineers are actively building and testing the new functionality. |
Scheduled for Release | The idea has passed internal QA and is scheduled for an upcoming release. |
Idea Implemented | Your idea is now live in ConexED! You will receive a follow up email from our team notifying you of the implementation. |
Closed | After careful review, this idea will not move forward. This may happen if it duplicates existing functionality, falls outside our current roadmap, or isn’t technically feasible at this time. Whenever possible, we’ll include the reason for closure. |
How we decide which ideas move forward
Each idea is evaluated using three main criteria:
Criteria | What it means |
Value & Reach | How many users or institutions are affected, and how often will they benefit? |
Roadmap Alignment | Does this idea fit within ConexED’s goals and long-term vision? |
Feasibility | Can it be realistically delivered with available resources and technology? |
Please note: Not every idea can move forward immediately--or in some cases, at all. We believe transparency matters: if your idea isn’t selected for development, we’ll explain the reasoning.
Staying informed
You can check the status of your idea anytime through the Customer Portal. If your idea advances through the process, we’ll update its status and notify you along the way.
We appreciate your partnership and your role in helping shape the future of ConexED--one idea at a time.
