Check-In Kiosk Settings

This article applies to the following role permissions: ConexED Administrator - Department Director - Group Manager

As a Group Admin or higher, you will have the ability to customize a Group's Check-In Kiosk Settings. This allows you to personalize the details displayed on the Live Monitor View and adjust specific settings for the student check-in process.

Live Monitor View Settings

Customize the information shown on the Live Monitor View for each Group's Check-in Kiosk location. To do this, navigate to your Group's Check-In Kiosk tab > Kiosk Settings section:

Kiosk Settings Live Monitor View (2)

Live Monitor Columns 1, 2, & 3: Select the information you want displayed in the "Waiting in Queue" section of the Live Monitor. You can choose to show the student's Full Name, Username, Phone Number, or Student ID number. Then, select the number of characters you would like to display for the selected field (1-9 or ALL)

Live Monitor Now Serving: Select the field that you would like to be shown in the "Now Serving" section of the Live Monitor. You can then choose the number of characters you want to be displayed for that field, ranging from 1 to 9 or showing all characters.

Live Monitor Time in Queue: In the "Waiting in Queue" section of the Live Monitor, you have the option to show either the student's Estimated Wait Time or their Position in Queue. This allows you to provide real-time information to students about how long they can expect to wait or where they are in line.

Here is an example of how the Live Monitor View appears when one student is checked into an Active Meeting and another student is in the Live Queue. The information displayed reflects the settings that were configured in the previous screenshot:

Kiosk Early Check-in Window: Specify the time frame in which an attendee can check in for a pre-scheduled meeting using the Kiosk. By selecting "Same Day," students are able to check in for their scheduled appointment at any time on the day of the appointment. You have the option to limit this time frame by choosing from pre-determined increments ranging from 10 minutes to 6 hours.

Kiosk Late Check-in Cutoff: You can set a time limit for attendees to check in for a meeting through the Kiosk after the appointment has started. If you select "Meeting Start," students will not be able to check in for a scheduled appointment once the scheduled start time has passed. However, you have the option to extend this time limit by choosing a predetermined increment ranging from 5 minutes to 2 hours.

Show Intake Form in Kiosk: Show the Group's Appointment Intake Form to Kiosk users when they are checking into the Live Queue

Audio Alert for Drop In Students: If this option is enabled, a sound notification will be played when a student joins the Live Queue
