Understanding the holistic student journey is essential to providing the best support to your college's students. In addition to tracking meetings, drop-ins, chats, and events, you can also track custom activities within ConexED.
Logging Avticites is quick and easy-- follow the steps below:
1. To log an activity for a particular student, navigate to their student record by typing in their name on the Student Lookup search bar.
2. Navigate to the Meeting History tab and locate the Log Activity Box
3. Start by adding the Title and Body of your Activity. These sections should be used to capture your anecdotal detail.
4. If you are logging an activity that includes a dollar value or quantity, fill in the Value column. An example of this would be if you were logging an activity around direct aid to the student.
For instance, if you were logging an activity that involved a student receiving a gift card, you could put the amount of that gift card in this area.
5. Next, select the group within ConexED that this activity applied to.
6. Once you select the group, the Reason Code field drop-down should populate the applicable reason codes to that group.
Note: If you don't see the correct reason codes, you must navigate to your department or group area with the Scheduling module to ensure "Activity" is selected under the Reason Code "Show On' table.
7. Once a reason code is selected, continue to the next field and select the Date and Time the activity occurred.
8. Finally, when selecting the Activity Type, you will want to choose the "how" or the modality in which the activity occurred.
9. Once the form is complete, select Log Activity and the screen should refresh with your newly logged activity located on the Student Activity Records table located to the left of the form.
