The Schedule and View Events navigation tools are used to schedule on-campus or online events. (Webinar, orientations, group instruction, class, etc.)
The virtual space can hold up to 100 individuals.
How to Schedule an Event
1. Navigate to the Scheduling Tab on the left side navigation bar.
2. Click on Schedule and View Event Meetings.
There will be four tabs visible: My Event Appointments, Schedule Event Meeting, Event Registration Forms, and Events Report.
3. Click on Schedule Event Meeting and complete each field.
An event can be a single time event or set as weekly recurrence pattern.
An event should be associated with a group, and can also have a reason code.
If the event is designated as "online", the moderator chosen is the only one that can "open" the classroom/event space at the time of the event.
Students can be invited to the event OR the event can be published with a registration link.
The number of attendees can be limited; in addition a wait list can be added with a limit assigned if needed.
A registration form may be added, if desired.
View an Event
You can view an event that you are a moderator of, an invited guest of, or an event you have registered for.
1 . Navigate to the Scheduling Tab on the left side navigation bar.
2. Click on Schedule and View Event Meetings.
There will be four tabs visible: My Event Appointments, Schedule Event Meeting, Event Registration Forms, and Events Report.
3. Click on My Event Appointments.
