Send customized Multiple-Channel Notifications or Rich Text Emails to all students within a selected Cohort Category through the CRM Messaging Center.
Select a Cohort Category and Send Notification to All
- Navigate to the CRM & Cohorts Center tab on the left side navigation bar
- Click on the Messaging Center dropdown and select Cohort Notifications
- Under the Search Filters section, select a Cohort Category and click "Search" to return a list of students assigned to a Cohort in the selected Cohort Category
- Click the "Send Notification to All" button
Once you click "Send Notification to All", you can select the Notification Type from the popup
Send a Multiple-Channel Notification to a Cohort Category
- From the Notification Type popup, click the "Multiple-Channel Notification" button
- Add a Notification Title, Message, select the Notification Type(s), choose if you want to Override Opt-Outs*, and choose if you want to send the notification at a later date
- Once you are finished creating your notification, click the "Send Notification" button to send the Notification you created to all students in the selected Cohort Category
*When "Override Opt-Outs" is selected, students who have opted out of email or text notifications will still receive the notification
Send a Rich Email Text to a Cohort Category
- From the Select Notification Type popup, click the "Rich Email Text" button
- You will be redirected to the Send Email Notification Page where you can enter an Email Subject and Email Body
- Once you have finished creating your Email Notification, click the "Send Email" button to send the email you created to all students in the selected Cohort Category
