Send Message to a Cohort

This article applies to the following role permissions: ConexED Administrator - Director - Group Manager - Faculty/Staff

Send customized Multiple-Channel Notifications or Rich Text Emails to all students assigned to a selected Cohort through the CRM Messaging Center.

Select a Cohort and Send Notification to All

  1. Navigate to the CRM & Cohorts tab on the left side navigation bar
  2. Click on the Messaging Center dropdown and select Cohort Notifications
  3. Under the Search Filters section, select the Cohort Category, then the Cohort you want to send a Notification to, and click "Search" to return a list of students assigned to the selected Cohort
  4. Click the "Send Notification to All" button

 

Once you click "Send Notification to All", you can select the Notification Type from the popup

 

Send a Multi-Channel Notification to a selected Cohort

  1.  From the Select Notification Type popup, click the "Multiple-Channel Notification" button
  2. Add a Notification Title, Message, select the Notification Type(s), choose if you want to Override Opt-Outs*, and choose if you want to send the notification at a later date
  3. Click the "Send Notification" button to send the Notification you created to all students in the selected Cohort

*When "Override Opt-Outs" is selected, students who have opted out of email or text notifications will still receive the notification

 

Send a Rich Email Text to a selected Cohort

  1. From the Select Notification Type popup, click the "Rich Email Text" button
  2. You will be redirected to the Send Email Notification Page where you can enter an Email Subject and Email Body
  3. Click the "Send Email" button to send the email you created to all students in the selected Cohort
