Using Milestone Progress Alerts

This article applies to the following role permissions: ConexED Administrator - Institution Administrator - Department Director - Group Manager - Faculty/Staff

What is a Milestone Progress Alert (MPA)?

A Milestone Progress Alert (MPA) is a notification system within ConexED designed to keep track of students' progress within a specific course or program. MPAs serve as early indicators of students' performance, allowing faculty and staff to intervene promptly if students are falling behind or not meeting critical academic milestones.

Who Receives Milestone Progress Alerts for a Cohort?

Milestone progress alerts for a cohort are sent to designated student support staff who are responsible for guiding and monitoring students' academic progress. These alerts ensure that the appropriate individuals are informed and can take timely action to support student success. The following roles are eligible to receive milestone progress alerts if assigned as student support staff: ConexED Admin, Institution Admin, Department Director, Group Manager, and Faculty/Staff.

Who Can Assign Student Support Staff to a Cohort

ConexED Administrators and Institution Administrators have the authority to assign Student Support Staff to any cohort. Department Directors and Group Managers designated as group administrators must also be assigned either as a Cohort Category Administrator for the relevant category or as a Cohort Administrator for the specific cohort in order to assign Student Support Staff.
