Why is My Online Status Not Showing in the Student Support Directory?

This article applies to the following role permissions: ConexED Administrator - Director - Group Manager - Faculty/Staff

If your Online status does not show on your ConexED Card in the Student Support Directory even after switching it to Online, make sure to also unlock your Group Lobby. In order to show your Online status and access the Knock on Door feature on your ConexED Card in the Student Support Directory, you must change your status to Online and unlock your Group Lobby. If you switch your status to Online but your Group Lobby is locked, you will be displayed as Offline in the Student Support Directory and any embedded Group Cards.

 

When your Group Lobby is locked and your status has been set to "Online"

you will appear as "Offline" from your ConexED Card:

When your Group Lobby is unlocked and your status has been set to "Online"

you will appear as "Online" and the Knock on Door button will be displayed on your ConexED Card:

It's important to note that some schools will not see the red "Offline" status indicator on staff member's ConexED cards. In these cases, the Online status and Knock on Door button will not be visible on their cards when the staff member is offline.
