If the student has not chosen to receive SMS messages, this icon will be disabled and you will be unable to send an SMS message.
View Meeting Details: By clicking on the magnifying glass icon, you can access the Appointment Details modal for this meeting.
Edit Check-in Details: Modify the selected Reason Code(s) for this meeting, include extra Check-In Notes, and update the student's SMS messaging preferences by selecting the option "The student has agreed to receive text messages (SMS)".
Check In: If the student or staff member chooses the "Next Available" option for the counselor they want to meet with, you will see a message saying "Check-In: Select a Counselor" when you hover over this icon. By clicking on the icon, you will be able to view the list of available group users whom you can assign the student to for their meeting:
If there are no Faculty/Staff members currently available in the Group, you will see the following message:
Note: Faculty/Staff members will only be visible as available Meeting Counselors if they have set up Drop-in Office Hours for the Group. Additionally, the Reason Codes associated with those Office Hours must include the selected Reason Code for the meeting and must be marked as "show in kiosk".
If a specific counselor was chosen by the student during check-in, you will see "Check-In: [Counselor's Name]". Clicking this icon will automatically check the student in with the selected counselor for their meeting.
Check In (With Self): If you are a Faculty/Staff member assigned to a Group and a student is in the Live Queue for that Group, you have the ability to check the student in for a meeting with yourself, even if you do not have Drop-in Office Hours configured for that Group. This feature allows counselors to bypass restrictions when there are no other Available Counselors to check the student in with.
